2018 SBF CSA Week #21


Things are winding down here at the farm. It’s been a while since we had jackets and cold fingers while picking vegetables. It looks like our planting schedule worked well this season, as we will have one more delivery after this week, and that should pretty much wipe out what produce is still in the gardens. Week #21 Cooler Contents

  • broccoli
  • jade green beans
  • mystic pie pumpkins
  • parsley
  • table ace acorn squash
  • early jersey wakefield cabbage
  • softneck garlic
  • vienna kohlrabi
  •  toscano kale or flash collards
  • spicy asian greens

Caramelized cabbage & onions.  Enough said.

Fried pumpkin.  Everything is good fried.

Collard greens are a great comfort food for this fall weather.
