2018 SBF CSA Week #11

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all used up all of your excess produce during the off-week.
We stayed busy here at the farm with all of the normal chores, and transplanting the seedlings for some of our fall crops.
We also started planting seeds out in the garden for a fall crop of beets and beans. We are extremely dry right now, so we will need rain to get all of those seeds to germinate. Hopefully we get that rain soon.
This week marks the halfway point of our season. We hope you are pleased so far with the produce. We would love to get some feedback from everyone. We would also love to have some testimonials to add to our website.  Please email those to us if willing and we’ll get them posted on the website.  Thanks!
Have a great week.

The first dish that I’ve made with both summer squash and corn.  Quite tasty!

It’s hard to beat roasted beets!

Yellow flesh watermelon is super crisp and blends well with tomatoes in this watermelon & tomato salad recipe.
