2018 SBF CSA Week #3

Happy week #3 SBF Subscibers!  Soon spring crops will be done and we’ll be moving into our summer crop harvests.  But while we’re thinking about what we’ll be harvesting next, we must also be thinking about this fall’s crops.  The first planting of the winter squash crop was planted this week and soon we will start the germination room back up to start the seedlings for the fall plants.  Thank goodness for Excel to keep track of everything for us!  Our seeding and planting schedule is one of the big projects we work on through the winter months, so that when the season is in full swing the task of remembering when everything needs to be planted is obsolete.  That is, as long as Mother Nature cooperates.  Juicy tomatoes and corn on the cob are just around the corner!  Have a great week and a safe Memorial Day!
