2018 SBF CSA Week #19

Hello Everyone. It’s hard to believe that we are already at the end of September. The weeks just seem to fly by. We have something on the CSA menu this week that has been pretty rare at Shared Bounty Farm — carrots!!  It is a basic crop, that most people don’t pay a lot of attention to, but we have had much frustration with our carrot crops over the years. Perseverance, and a lot of time spent hand weeding, seem to be the key to growing them. Just the fact that we have been able to send out carrots in the coolers, is a major victory for us.
Have a great week!
