2018 SBF CSA Week #18

Happy week #18 and fall!  It sure feels like fall and we love it here at the farm.  Fall brings with it the importance of cover crops and soil maintenance over the winter.  Cover crops are such an importance segment of the farming cycle.  The many benefits of cover crops include:  erosion prevention, weed suppression, soil structure improvement, addition of organic matter, moisture control, addition of valuable nutrients, and beneficial insect attraction.  All of these benefits allow the agriculture world to work smarter not harder and help protect this amazing world we live in.  Have a great week everyone!
